Vihtij\u00e4rvi village is situated in the northern part of Vihti municipality, bordering Uusimaa, and Southern H\u00e4me. It is called of Vihti\u00b4s crown. On the map it is stylized as a crown. That’s a wonderful origin story for our company name too, ”Kruunun Lomat” (Crown Holidays).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centrality of the lakes can already be seen in the name of the place. There are many lakes, and ponds in the area. Vihtij\u00e4rvi is known for its tranquility, clean lakes, and natural beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cities like Klaukkala, Hyvink\u00e4\u00e4, Karkkila, and Loppi are less than half an hour’s drive away. It is about 50 kilometers to Helsinki capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The establishment of three guided nature trails in the Vihtij\u00e4rvi area in 2018 is a wonderful initiative. Nature trails provide an excellent way for both locals, and visitors to immerse themselves in the natural beauty, and surroundings of the region. The varying lengths of 2 to 3.4 kilometers offer options for different preferences, and levels of hiking, or walking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among these, let’s mention, for example, Henrikinpolku, the route of which goes up to Rokokallio. It is the highest place in Vihti, and the third highest place in all of Uusimaa. Henrikinpolku goes around the area, which has been owned by the Hiiskula manor, and the Brummer family since 1869. Henrik Brummer (1926-2006) once hosted the manor, and the route is named after him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
